Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the NURA educational platform. NURA is an AI-powered adaptive learning platform designed for Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate students in Spain. Using the Platform implies full acceptance of these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Three types of accounts exist: - Parent/Tutor account: Created by the legal guardian. - Student account: Created by the tutor for each child. - Teacher account: For educators. Users agree to provide accurate information, maintain credential confidentiality, and report unauthorized access.

NURA is designed for use by minors in educational settings. In compliance with Spanish and EU data protection law: - Children under 14 require parental consent. - Student accounts are managed by legal guardians. - NURA implements technical and organizational measures to protect children's data.

NURA grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform. This includes access to educational content, the AI tutor, interactive tools, and progress tracking.

Users must use the Platform responsibly, respect intellectual property rights, and use it solely for educational purposes.

The following is expressly prohibited: - Using the Platform for illegal activities. - Copying or distributing content without authorization. - Attempting unauthorized access to other users' data. - Introducing viruses or harmful code. - Using automated mechanisms (bots, scrapers). - Impersonating another user. - Manipulating the assessment system.

All Platform content is protected by Spanish and international intellectual property law. NURA owns or licenses all rights to these contents.

NURA offers various subscription plans. Payments are processed through Stripe. - Subscriptions renew automatically. - Users may cancel at any time. - No refunds for partial periods.

NURA commits to keeping the Platform operational and providing quality educational content aligned with the official Spanish curriculum. AI recommendations are advisory and complementary to formal education.

NURA reserves the right to modify these Terms. Changes will be communicated via email and Platform notices.

NURA may suspend or cancel a user's access for breach, fraudulent use, or non-payment.

NURA uses artificial intelligence systems and complies with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (European Artificial Intelligence Act) and with Spanish AI governance legislation. Transparency (art. 50 of the AI Act): - When you interact with the virtual tutor, you are aware at all times that it is an artificial intelligence system and not a person. - AI-generated content within the Platform (exercises, explanations, images and audio) is identified as such and marked in a manner that is legible to humans and, where technically feasible, to machines. Practices that NURA does NOT carry out (art. 5 of the AI Act): - It does not use emotion recognition systems on students, which are expressly prohibited in the educational context. - It does not use subliminal or manipulative techniques, nor techniques that exploit the vulnerability of minors. - It does not perform social scoring of users. Human oversight and limitations: - The adaptive engine personalizes difficulty, but the AI's corrections and recommendations are advisory, subject to review and do not produce automatic legal effects on the student. - AI may make mistakes; important content should be verified with a teacher or with official sources.
